Shipping Policy
How each piece is made
Every House of Parvi garment is made to order, not held in stock. As soon as your order is placed we will email you, and will also be in touch to confirm the details. Because each piece is produced individually, we try to dispatch within 10–15 working days of confirmation; this can vary depending on your shipping address.
If you have chosen a customised size or finish, we will need additional production time, and an additional fee will apply depending on the customisation requested.
Where your order ships from
All House of Parvi pieces are made and processed at our studio in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, India, and shipped worldwide from there. Most prices on houseofparvi.com are shown in GBP, but this does not mean your order ships from the UK. If your delivery address is outside India — including the UK and the EU — your order is an international shipment, and the shipping rate and import duties described below will apply.
Delivery timelines
Once your order is dispatched, delivery within India takes 3–10 working days; international delivery takes 5–20 working days, depending on destination. Our courier delivers Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays, between 10am and 6pm.
Shipping within India
- Free shipping on all prepaid orders within India.
- All prices are inclusive of GST.
Shipping outside India
Outside India, shipping is calculated automatically at checkout based on the total weight of your order. Rates are set in GBP; if you are shopping in another currency, you will see the converted equivalent at checkout.

House of Parvi silks are light, so a single-garment order will almost always fall in the first band. For most orders, £25 is the realistic shipping cost, not a starting figure.
These rates apply to the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the following destinations: United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Switzerland, and Norway. We do not currently have shipping rates configured for other destinations. If you are ordering from elsewhere, please write to us at hop@houseofparvi.com before placing your order.
Import duties and taxes
This shipping fee covers carriage only. It does not include import duties or taxes, which are separate and payable by you.
Most countries charge duties on goods arriving from abroad. These are assessed at the border, vary by destination country and by product, and are collected by the shipping agency directly from you at the time of delivery. We are not able to calculate or prepay these on your behalf. This applies to every destination outside India, including the UK and the EU — the GBP price you pay at checkout does not include them.
If a parcel is refused or goes unclaimed
Because import duties are payable on delivery, and are disclosed upfront as set out above, refusing them is treated the same as cancelling the delivery. If a parcel is refused or goes unclaimed and is returned to us, we refund the price of the goods, less the actual cost of return carriage and any re-import charges we incur.

Address changes and tracking
- We can only change your delivery address before your order has shipped.
- Please provide a valid email address with every order. You will receive a tracking email as soon as your order is dispatched.
Delays beyond our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by natural calamities or other unavoidable circumstances, though we will do everything we can to help trace a parcel with our delivery partner.
