The Certificates Come Before the Claims
At House of Parvi, every material that enters the garment is certified by an independent third party. Not by us — by the certifying body willing to stake their name on it.

A Certificate for Every Layer

Lotus fibre — a rare, plant-based textile. We source the raw fabric directly from a specialist mill; we do not mill or process the fibre ourselves. Lotus is outside the scope of GOTS certification, and we make no such claim.
The printing and dyeing inks we specify are GOTS-certified inputs from our textile vendor. The honest distinction — the inks are certified. The finished garment is not GOTS-certified, and we do not claim it is.
Bemberg cupro linings — a smooth, breathable cellulose fibre — held to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for chemical safety and Recycled Claim Standard 100 (RCS 100) for chain-of-custody on the recycled cotton-linter feedstock.
The interlining and fusing that give collars, plackets and cuffs their structure are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — audited for chemical residues and skin safety.
YKK zippers held to Bluesign certification, which audits the environmental and chemical footprint of the entire zipper supply chain, not just the finished product.
Small-batch clay buttons, hand-shaped and hand-fired. This is one of two components with no third-party certification — because certification schemes for artisanal ceramics do not meaningfully exist. Named plainly as craft.
The label at the back-neck and the washcare tag at the side-seam interior — both are printed on GOTS-certified organic cotton, produced by a specialist label-and-washcare vendor who is audited annually at the vendor level. The washcare tag carries care instructions and the fabric name in five languages: English, Italian, Spanish, German and French.
A Supply Chain Without Shadows
We visit every supplier, every workshop, every vendor partnership. We pay above living wage at every tier. We do not tolerate child labour in any form. We do not accept subcontracting to workshops we have not visited. These are not policies. They are conditions of collaboration.
Craft Cannot Be Separated from Conscience
Fashion's worst moments happen at a distance — between brand and maker, between buyer and the hands that stitched the seam. House of Parvi closes that distance deliberately. When you wear a House of Parvi piece, you wear something made by someone we respect.
The Standards Are Certified. The Hands Are Known.
Trust in a supply chain is not a promise a brand makes about itself. It is a certificate a third party is willing to stake their name on. Our printing and dyeing inks are GOTS-certified. Our Bemberg linings carry OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and Recycled Claim Standard 100 (RCS 100). Our interlining is OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Our YKK zippers are Bluesign-certified. Where certification does not meaningfully exist — for the lotus fibre we source, or the handmade clay buttons we use — we name the component plainly and make no claim we cannot back.
Around those certificates sits an older, deeper story: the guru-shishya lineage that has kept Indian textile craft alive for centuries. Skill transmitted master to apprentice, workshop to workshop, generation to generation. What the certificates add is not the craft itself — that came before them and will outlast them — but an audited, third-party record of the working conditions inside the workshops that carry it.
